Samsung Galaxy S26 Series to Use Bleeding Edge Memory Chips

A recent leak from well-known tipster Ice Universe on X suggests Samsung is planning a major upgrade to memory for its upcoming Galaxy S26 series.

According to the leak, every model in the lineup will come equipped with LPDDR5X 10.7Gbps memory, the fastest currently available in mass production. The base configuration for all variants is expected to include at least 12GB of RAM.

This would be a notable shift from Samsung’s earlier flagship releases, where only the top-tier Ultra model offered the highest RAM options. By adopting this new standard across the entire S26 range, Samsung appears set to raise the baseline for memory performance in its next generation of smartphones.

Other rumors surrounding the Galaxy S26 series have pointed to faster charging capabilities, with the Ultra model reportedly supporting 60W wired charging and 25W wireless charging. However, the latest leak places the spotlight firmly on memory as a central area of improvement for the series.

Samsung has not officially confirmed these details. More information is expected as the official launch of the Galaxy S26 series draws closer.
