Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has signed a cargo interline special rate agreement with Biman Bangladesh Airlines to strengthen trade links and streamline air cargo movement between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
The agreement will take effect on December 1, 2025.
Under the partnership, major Saudi cities – Jeddah, Madinah, and Riyadh – will operate as key transit gateways, creating a strategic regional trade corridor.
The arrangement is expected to simplify logistics for transporting high-value goods, including textiles, pharmaceuticals, and agricultural products.
By leveraging the combined cargo networks of PIA and Biman, exporters and importers from both countries will gain access to more efficient and cost-effective air freight services.
PIA officials said the initiative underscores the airline’s commitment to offering Pakistani businesses improved connectivity and streamlined cargo solutions across the region.
