Pakistani all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz has been shortlisted for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award for November 2025, alongside South African spinner Simon Harmer and Bangladesh left-arm spinner Taijul Islam.

Harmer played a starring role in South Africa’s historic 2-0 Test series win over India, their first series triumph in India in 25 years. The 36-year-old off-spinner claimed 17 wickets at an astonishing average of 8.94 across the two Tests, including a brilliant 6/37 in the second match, earning him the Player of the Series award.

Taijul Islam continued his impressive form as Bangladesh swept Ireland in a home Test series. The left-arm spinner took 13 wickets at an average of 26.30, breaking key partnerships and securing the Player of the Series title.

Mohammad Nawaz shone in Pakistan’s tri-series at home against Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. He scored 104 runs in ODIs at an average of 52 and took four wickets, while in T20Is, he added 52 runs and claimed 11 wickets at an average of just 12.72.

His match-winning 3-17 in the final against Sri Lanka capped a stellar campaign and earned him the Player of the Series honor.
