Preparations for the 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) season are underway as franchises start to look for foreign players who are available for retention.
While most squads will finalize their lists after the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) auction, six PSL teams have already identified several overseas stars who could return to their setups.
According to early confirmations, Defending champions Lahore Qalandars can retain Zimbabwean star Sikandar Raza, English wicketkeeper batsman Sam Billings, and Namibian all-rounder David Wiese.
Karachi Kings can retain the services of their skipper, Australian batter David Warner, Afghanistani all-rounder Mohammad Nabi, and England’s James Vince.
Peshawar Zalmi can acquire the services of England’s Tom Kohler-Cadmore (TKC), Afghanistan’s Najibullah Zadran, and Australian batter Max Bryant once again.
For Islamabad United, American batter Andries Gous and South Africa’s Rassie van der Dussen are available for retention.
Despite talks of rebranding and ownership disputes, England pacer David Willey, Johnson Charles, and Gudakesh Motie from the West Indies are available if Multan chooses to retain their services.
And finally, South Africa’s Rilee Rossouw and New Zealand batter Mark Chapman are available for Quetta Gladiators.
