The Punjab School Education Department has announced a free Google certification programme for 25,000 teachers and students enrolled or employed in private schools across the province.
According to the department, the initiative will enable thousands of private school teachers and students to acquire modern IT skills, with certification courses to be conducted in private schools equipped with advanced computer labs.
Officials say the programme will create new employment opportunities both locally and internationally, while giving participants access to global-standard digital training.
The department believes the move will strengthen digital literacy and help prepare students and educators for the rapidly evolving job market.
