A major daylight theft has taken place in Gujranwala, where thieves made off with valuable pine nuts worth Rs. 3.85 million.
The incident occurred a few days ago, but CCTV footage of the crime has now surfaced.
The video shows three suspects openly carrying away six sacks of chilgoza pine nuts in broad daylight before fleeing the scene.
Following the incident, Model Town Police Station in Gujranwala registered a case and launched an investigation.
However, the affected trader raised serious concerns over the registered FIR. He said the police recorded the case for only Rs. 350,000 instead of the actual loss of Rs. 3.85 million.
He urged authorities to arrest the suspects at the earliest and recover the stolen high-value chilgoza pine nuts.
