LHC to Hear Petition Against Kite Flying Ordinance 2025

A petition challenging the Kite Flying Ordinance 2025 has been fixed for hearing before the Lahore High Court.

The Registrar’s Office has issued the cause list, scheduling the case for hearing on January 5. The court has already directed the petitioner’s counsel to submit a reply to the response.

The petition has been filed by the Judicial Activism Panel, opposing the permission for kite flying. The Punjab government and other authorities have been made respondents in the case.

The petitioner has formally challenged the constitutionality and legality of the Kite Flying Ordinance 2025.
