Hyderabad Kingsmen Buy Star Sri Lankan Batter for Rs. 3.10 Crore for PSL 11

Hyderabad Kingsmen have secured Sri Lankan wicketkeeper-batter Kusal Perera for Rs. 3.10 crore in the first-ever 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) player auction at Lahore’s Expo Center.

Perera, known for his explosive batting at the top of the order and ability to change games in a few overs, adds firepower and experience to Hyderabad’s lineup that features the likes of Saim Ayub, Maaz Sadaqat and Marnus Labuschagne.

His proven T20 credentials and capability to perform under pressure make him a key asset for the franchise’s opening combination.

The signing comes amid a series of notable deals in the auction. Lahore Qalandars brought back Haris Rauf for Rs. 7.60 crore after his standout 2025/26 Big Bash League (BBL 15) campaign, Rawalpindi secured Naseem Shah for Rs. 8.65 crore and Daryl Mitchell for Rs. 8.05 crore, Sialkot Stallionz added Sahibzada Farhan for Rs. 5.70 crore, and Karachi Kings signed Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha for Rs. 5.85 crore.

With these signings, PSL 11 squads are taking shape, promising a highly competitive and exciting season.
