Islamabad United have secured New Zealand batter Mark Chapman for Rs. 7.00 crore during the 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) player auction at Lahore’s Expo Center.
Mark Chapman, known for his explosive strokeplay and ability to accelerate the innings in the middle overs, adds a much-needed finishing option to Islamabad’s batting lineup.
His experience in T20 leagues worldwide makes him a valuable asset as the franchise looks to strengthen its middle-order firepower.
This signing comes after several major deals in the auction, including Lahore Qalandars bringing back Haris Rauf for Rs. 7.60 crore following his standout Big Bash League season and retaining opener Fakhar Zaman for Rs. 7.95 crore.
Rawalpindi bolstered their pace attack with Naseem Shah for Rs. 8.65 crore, Mohammad Amir for Rs. 5.40 crore, and also signed New Zealand all-rounder Daryl Mitchell for Rs. 8.05 crore.
Sialkot Stallionz added top-order batter Sahibzada Farhan for Rs. 5.70 crore, Karachi Kings picked up all-rounder Salman Ali Agha for Rs. 5.85 crore, Hyderabad Kingsmen signed Sri Lankan opener Kusal Perera for Rs. 3.10 crore, and Quetta Gladiators strengthened their top order with Khawaja Nafay for Rs. 6.50 crore.
With these marquee local and overseas players now in place, PSL 11 squads are shaping up to be among the strongest and most competitive in the league’s history.
