Multan Sultans star batter Sahibzada Farhan delivered a match-winning performance with a brilliant unbeaten century in the 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11).
The opening batsman equaled a T20 record held by Virat Kohli while moving closer to Babar Azam’s tally of centuries in T20 cricket.
Sahibzada Farhan scored an unbeaten 106 off 57 balls against the Hyderabad Kingsmen at Gaddafi Stadium. His innings included eight sixes and seven fours and marked his ninth century in T20 cricket, achieved in his 166th match.
With this knock, Sahibzada Farhan drew level with Kohli on the list of players with the most T20 centuries and now shares sixth place. More importantly, he reduced the gap to Babar Azam, who is second on the all-time list with 11 centuries.
South Africa’s Rilee Rossouw also has nine centuries, though he reached the mark in 393 matches.

Chasing a target of 226, Multan Sultans secured victory with four wickets down and eight balls remaining, driven by Farhan’s outstanding innings.
He was supported by Steve Smith, who scored 46, and Shan Masood, who added 29. Farhan finished the chase alongside Arafat Minhas, who remained unbeaten on 26 off 11 balls.
For the Kingsmen, Saim Ayub took two wickets but conceded 43 runs in three overs. Maheesh Theekshana and Hassan Khan picked up one wicket each.
