Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Note 15 Special Edition following a series of teasers. The device mirrors the Redmi Note 15 5G available in China and includes a 50MP main camera along with a 5,800mAh battery.
The Redmi Note 15 Special Edition is offered in three color options: Crimson Reserve, Carbon Black, and Frosted White. The Crimson Reserve variant features a faux-leather back panel.
The device comes with a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals, along with a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The panel can reach up to 3,200 nits of peak brightness.
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, paired with an Adreno 710 GPU.
It is available with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Storage can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.
On the software side, the device runs HyperOS 2 based on Android 15.
Additional features include an under-display fingerprint sensor, IP55 and IP66 ratings, MIL-STD-810H certification, an infrared sensor, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, 5G, and dual 4G VoLTE.
The Redmi Note 15 Special Edition is equipped with a 50MP primary rear camera. This differs from the global version of the Redmi Note 15 5G, which uses a 108MP sensor.
The rear setup also includes a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the device features a 20MP camera for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone packs a 5,800mAh battery, matching the China variant of the Redmi Note 15 5G. It supports 45W fast charging.
Pricing starts at $215 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The 8GB/128GB variant is priced at $235, while the 8GB/256GB model costs $250.
