The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a new B-Form system, updating how the authority issues identification documents to citizens in Pakistan and abroad.
Under the updated process, each child will now receive a separate B-Form in three different stages, each with a specific validity period. The forms will also include photographs and, at later stages, biometric data.
According to the new system, the first B-Form will be issued at the time of birth without a photograph. This form will remain valid until the child reaches the age of three.
After the child turns three, a second B-Form will be issued, this time including a photograph. This document will remain valid until the child reaches the age of ten.
Once the child is older than ten, a new B-Form will be issued again. At this stage, the process will include the child’s photograph, iris scan, and fingerprints. This form will remain valid until the age of eighteen.
Parents have been advised to register their child’s birth at the Union Council within one month and obtain the initial B-Form from NADRA.
They are also encouraged to renew the B-Form on time after each validity period expires. For renewal, parents can visit the nearest NADRA office with their child or apply from home using the Pak-ID mobile application.
This new system aims to ensure updated identification records for children at different stages of their development.

UNICEF arrange an international exposure visit to Peru ,South America to learn from their best practices in field of Vital Events Registration (Birth,Death,Marriages & diverse) in May 2019.During the visit to the Gynecology ward in one of the Lima(capital of peru) main hospital it was observed that Birth Registration was made within hours of the new born and instead of their hand print their foot print were taken and feed in into the system .The model seems more authentic and can be successfully replicated during child birth registration both at hospital or village/Union Council level . I’m just 20 Year’s old and I belongs to lower middle class family and I being tired of this country just because of the government. The price of each and everything is going higher day by day . I’m the only one in my family who earns ,and now for me it’s become impossible to survive ,and at the stage to perform a suicide just because of government increasing the prices . From last month half of my salary goes in petrol expense and I don’t know how to survive with 5 family member just in 15,000 PKR !! . All I requested to the government is just look at the lower middle class there about to die because they are not able afford the of meals just the meals I’m not talking about extra expenses just the meals !!

Sir, Iss tarah toh parents Nadra office k chakar lagate rahen ge kabhi Pehla bacha kabhi doosra toh kabhi teesra, awam Pehle hi chakron me hai.
It would be good source of income for Government!! Process is good if it is free of cost after 1 time process! And rest 2 stages we can update from online app to update newly picture only….!! It should be free of cost!

Considering the current overloaded situation at all NADRA offices, they should have more offices as their app does not work at all, and even if all goes good, you still have to visit NADRA offices and waste productive time.
