The Pakistani rupee (PKR) closed in green against the US Dollar (USD) for the 141st consecutive day on Thursday.
Meanwhile, it posted gains against most of the other major currencies during today’s session.
The PKR closed at 278.95 after gaining one paisa against the US Dollar today.
One trader texted ProPakistani that the US President’s comments about oil and other commodities are hurting the dollar, but the PKR is maintaining its momentum so far. More gains are coming after traders priced in Trump’s hints at holding a 2nd round of war talks in Islamabad once again, he added.

PKR was stable against the UAE Dirham (AED)and also the Saudi Riyal (SAR).
