Here’s the Qualification Scenario for PSL 11 Final Playoff Spot

The race for the Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) playoffs has entered a decisive phase, with four teams still battling for the final spot as the league heads into its last round of matches.

Three-time champions Islamabad United became the latest side to secure qualification after a convincing eight-wicket win over Hyderabad Kingsmen at National Bank Stadium.

The win took Islamabad United to 11 points from nine matches, keeping them third on the table alongside already-qualified Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans.

The defeat proved costly for Hyderabad Kingsmen, who slipped to fifth place with eight points and a net run rate of -1.037, just ahead of Karachi Kings, who are also on eight points.

Defending champions Lahore Qalandars currently occupy fourth position, while Quetta Gladiators are seventh with six points from nine matches. RawalPindiz remain at the bottom with just one win and two points.

PSL 11 Points Table

Team Matches Wins Losses No Results Points Net Run Rate
Peshawar Zalmi (Q) 9 8 0 1 17 2.645
Multan Sultans (Q) 9 6 3 0 12 0.450
Islamabad United (Q) 9 5 3 1 11 1.766
Lahore Qalandars 9 4 5 0 8 -0.558
Hyderabad Kingsmen 9 4 5 0 8 -1.037
Karachi Kings 9 4 5 0 8 -1.063
Quetta Gladiators 9 3 6 0 6 -0.355
RawalPindiz (E) 9 1 8 0 2 -1.330

With Islamabad United’s qualification confirmed, Hyderabad Kingsmen, Lahore Qalandars, Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators are now competing for the final playoff place.

For Hyderabad Kingsmen, qualification depends on a strong finish. They must win their final match against RawalPindiz by a significant margin to improve their net run rate, while also needing both Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars to lose their respective matches.

Lahore Qalandars, meanwhile, face a tough final fixture against unbeaten Peshawar Zalmi. They need a win in that match and must also rely on defeats for both Kingsmen and Karachi Kings.

Karachi Kings must beat Quetta Gladiators in their final game and hope that both Qalandars and Kingsmen lose to move into the top four.

Quetta Gladiators, despite being seventh, are still mathematically in contention. If they defeat Karachi Kings while Kingsmen and Qalandars both lose, all four teams would be level on points, leaving net run rate to decide the final playoff spot.

With multiple scenarios still in play, the final round of league matches, and potentially net run rate, will determine which team secures the last place in the PSL 11 playoffs.
