K2 Airways Launches Cargo Flights to Uzbekistan

K2 Airways has started cargo flight operations between Pakistan and Navoiy in Uzbekistan, marking a new link between the two countries in the aviation sector.

The airline began operations on April 28 using a Boeing 737-400 cargo aircraft, expanding freight connectivity and supporting trade movement between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.

K2 Airways is a private airline based in Karachi and was established in May 2018 under an Airline Charter license issued by the Government of Pakistan.

The development comes alongside broader efforts to improve air connectivity between the two countries. In a separate move, Uzbekistan’s private airline Centrum Air has launched a direct passenger flight service between Lahore and Tashkent.

The service began on April 21, 2026, and operates twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays using Airbus A320 aircraft. The airline has partnered with Gerry’s Group as its general sales agent in Pakistan to manage operations and ticket distribution.

The Lahore–Tashkent route is expected to serve tourists, students, and business travellers, as Uzbekistan continues to gain interest as a destination for Pakistani passengers.
