Xiaomi is expected to release HyperOS 4 later this year with Android 17, and many users are now waiting to see whether their devices will receive the next major software update.
Xiaomi has not officially announced HyperOS 4 yet. However, early leaks suggest the update may bring bigger changes instead of a small yearly refresh.
The company has also not published an official device list. The current list is based on the update policy of each device, and devices with uncertain eligibility have not been included.
The following Xiaomi phones are expected to receive the HyperOS 4 update based on Android 17:
Several Redmi phones and tablets are also expected to receive the update.
In the Redmi Note series, the eligible devices include Redmi Note 15, Redmi Note 15 4G, Redmi Note 15 Pro, Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G, Redmi Note 15 Pro+, Redmi Note 15 Special, Redmi Note 14 4G, Redmi Note 14 Pro, Redmi Note 14 Pro+, and Redmi Note 14S.
In the Redmi Turbo series, Redmi Turbo 5 is expected to receive HyperOS 4.
In the Redmi number series, the expected devices include Redmi 15, Redmi 15 4G, Redmi 15C, Redmi 15C 4G, and Redmi 15A.
In the Redmi A series, Redmi A7, Redmi A7 Pro, Redmi A7 Pro 4G, and Redmi A5 are expected to receive the update.
For tablets, the expected Redmi Pad devices include Redmi Pad 2, Redmi Pad 2 Pro, and Redmi Pad 2 9.7.
The POCO F series devices expected to receive the update include POCO F8 Pro, POCO F8 Ultra, POCO F7, POCO F7 Pro, POCO F7 Ultra, POCO F6, and POCO F6 Pro.
In the POCO X series, the expected devices include POCO X8 Pro, POCO X8 Pro Max, POCO X7, POCO X7 Pro, and POCO X6 Pro.
In the POCO M series, POCO M8, POCO M8s, POCO M8 Pro, POCO M7 4G, and POCO M7 Plus are expected to receive the update.
In the POCO C series, the expected devices include POCO C85, POCO C85 4G, POCO C85x, POCO C81, POCO C81 Pro, POCO C81x, and POCO C71.
For tablets, POCO Pad X1, POCO Pad M1, and POCO Pad C1 are expected to receive HyperOS 4.
If a device is included in the list, it should receive HyperOS 4 based on Android 17 once Xiaomi starts the rollout later this year.
However, Xiaomi has previously released new HyperOS versions on older Android builds. For example, some devices received HyperOS 3.0 while still running Android 15.
Because of that, some devices that are not eligible for Android 17 may still receive HyperOS 4. However, those versions may miss some features compared with the Android 17-based release.
Xiaomi is expected to share an official device list once the rollout plan is ready.
