Dubai Police have warned residents about the risk of vehicle fires during the ongoing spell of extreme heat and urged motorists to ensure proper maintenance of their cars.
According to the advisory, vehicle owners should make sure their cars are serviced on time and kept in good working condition to reduce the chances of mechanical faults that could lead to fire incidents.
Police also cautioned drivers against using fake or low-quality spare parts, saying such components can increase the risk of mechanical failure and fire.
The warning comes as high temperatures continue to raise pressure on vehicles, especially those with poor maintenance or substandard parts.
Dubai Police has advised motorists to take preventive steps seriously to avoid accidents and protect both passengers and property during the summer season.
