Cento Link brings substantial on-ground capability in China through a team with more than fifteen years of specialist experience across the energy, engineering, chemical, construction, agricultural, medical, procurement and legal sectors. Its professionals have previously held senior positions at leading Chinese state-owned enterprises, industrial groups, procurement agencies, healthcare platforms, technology companies and legal institutions, including China National Petroleum Corporation, China National Offshore Oil Corporation, China State Construction Engineering Corporation, China National Chemical Engineering Group, provincial construction and agricultural reclamation groups, China Resources, Sinopharm Group, Alibaba Group, the Shenzhen State-Owned Investment Platform, Yingke Law Firm, and provincial tendering and procurement agencies.

This includes direct senior-level experience within Yingke itself, further strengthening the alignment between Cento Link’s operational capability in China and Silkway Impex’s wider cooperation framework with Yingke.

The investment strengthens Silkway Impex’s ability to provide Pakistani and Chinese counterparties with more structured procurement support, supplier verification, quality oversight and local coordination within China.

Cooperation framework with Yingke Law Firm

Signed on the same day, the cooperation framework agreement with Yingke Law Firm enables Silkway Impex to coordinate with Yingke’s legal resources across selected cross-border matters, including:

* international trade compliance and governance;
* domestic and overseas dispute resolution support;
* legal due diligence for cross-border investment, mergers and acquisitions; and
* cross-border intellectual property protection.

The cooperation is intended to support traders, investors and businesses operating between Pakistan and China by improving access to legal coordination, documentation support, due diligence and dispute resolution pathways across relevant jurisdictions.

“Silkway Impex is building a structured, institutionally aligned platform for Pakistan–China trade and investment,” said Raja Taimur Rehman, Managing Director of Silkway Impex Pvt. Ltd. “Our investment in Cento Link gives us stronger operational capability on the ground in China, while our cooperation framework with Yingke connects us with one of the world’s largest legal networks by lawyer headcount. Together, these arrangements allow us to support businesses on both sides with greater confidence, transparency and accountability.”

Yingke Law Firm’s global legal network

Founded in Beijing in 2001, Yingke Law Firm is one of the world’s largest law firms by lawyer headcount and has consistently ranked first in The Global 200 ranking of law firms by number of lawyers since 2022. Yingke maintains an extensive presence across mainland China and, through its wider global legal service network, reaches major commercial centres across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North America, Africa and Australia.

Yingke’s global platform covers a wide range of practice areas relevant to cross-border commerce, including international trade, corporate and investment law, dispute resolution, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, construction and real estate, and capital markets.

Bringing Yingke’s global network to Pakistan

Yingke does not currently maintain a direct office in Pakistan, positioning Silkway Impex to play a uniquely strategic role as the primary bridge between Pakistan and one of the world’s largest legal networks. By filling this gap, Silkway Impex is able to offer clients access to Yingke’s global capabilities while maintaining strong local execution on the ground.

To operationalize this advantage, Silkway Impex has partnered with Nawaz Hussain and Sikandar in Karachi and Bandial and Associates in Lahore, establishing a high-caliber Pakistan-based legal platform aligned with Yingke’s international standards. This structure enables clients to benefit from trusted local expertise in Pakistan, seamlessly integrated with Yingke’s extensive global reach for cross-border matters involving China and other jurisdictions.

Through this model, Silkway Impex delivers a differentiated value proposition: a coordinated, end-to-end legal and commercial support system that reduces friction, enhances reliability, and strengthens outcomes for businesses engaged in cross-border trade, procurement, investment and dispute resolution.

Fresh momentum for bilateral economic cooperation

Together, these arrangements are expected to inject fresh momentum into bilateral economic and trade cooperation between China and Pakistan. The deep synergy between Silkway Impex, Cento Link and Yingke Law Firm is designed to provide Chinese enterprises seeking to enter the Pakistan market with coordinated cross-border services, protection and compliance support, drawing on local execution capability and institutional legal standards alike.

By leveraging the full resources of this combined platform, Silkway Impex is positioned to facilitate mutual benefit for Pakistani companies doing business in China and Chinese companies doing business in Pakistan, supporting a two-way flow of trade, investment and commercial engagement between the two markets.

These agreements represent a critical milestone in Silkway Impex’s strategy to position itself as a central facilitator of Pakistan–China business engagement, leveraging its dual access to local partnerships and Yingke’s global network to create a competitive advantage in international deal-making and institutional collaboration.
