Oppo may be preparing to launch a new A-series smartphone with one of the largest batteries ever seen on a mainstream phone.
According to a new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Oppo A7 Pro Max could become Oppo’s first phone with a 10,000mAh battery. Oppo has not officially confirmed the device yet, so the details should be treated as leaked information for now.
The Oppo A7 Pro Max is tipped to feature a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display.
The screen is expected to offer a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The leak also claims the phone will include an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication.
Despite the large battery, the phone is said to measure 8.47mm in thickness and weigh around 226 grams.
The phone is expected to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset.
The leak does not mention the RAM and storage options. It also does not reveal the software version, launch date, or expected pricing.
The Oppo A7 Pro Max is tipped to come with a dual rear camera setup.
The rear system may include a 50MP main camera and a 2MP secondary sensor. On the front, the phone is expected to feature a 50MP selfie camera for photos and video calls.
The biggest highlight of the leak is the battery.
The Oppo A7 Pro Max is said to pack a single-cell 10,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. If accurate, this would be a major jump for Oppo’s A-series lineup.
The leak also supports an earlier report from June that claimed Oppo was working on a 10,000mAh phone.
Oppo has not announced the A7 Pro Max or confirmed the A7 series.
For now, the phone remains a rumored device. The leaked specifications suggest Oppo could be preparing a battery-focused midrange phone, but the final name, design, software, launch market, and price are still unknown.
