This Sector Will Have the Most Available Jobs Over the Next 2 Decades

If you are thinking about the best possible future profession for your children, a career at the aviation industry could be one of the best choices.

American commercial and combat aircraft manufacturer Boeing has just released its human resource (pilots, technician and cabin crew) forecast for the next 20 years. The company has issued the human resource forecast annually since the last 8 years. Their study is based on the industry’s commercial airplanes fleet growth, as well as the demand of crew to support this growth.

According to the Boeing Pilot and Technician outlook, there will be a demand of 1.2 million pilots and technicians by 2036.

Boeing says that in the next 20 years, the following number of aviation professionals will be in demand:

  • 637,000 new commercial airline pilots
  • 648,000 new commercial airline maintenance technicians
  • 839,000 new cabin crew members

Their 2017 outlook shows a slight increase of 3.2 percent for pilots over the 2016 outlook. It also shows a slight decrease in the need for airline maintenance technicians by 4.6 percent. This is primarily driven by the reduction in maintenance hours required on the Boeing 737 MAX.

Here is how the demand for aviation professionals will vary from region to region in the next 20 years:

  • American commercial and combat aircraft manufacturer Boeing
are not interest to Hire Pakistani People or who are belong to (Specially Muslim’s).

    • Bahi, read the article carefully, it said according to Boeing, there will mass demand for aviation sector. it doesn’t say, Boeing will be hiring.

    • Well that’s not true… If you have what it takes to be part of the world’s best aircraft manufacturer…sure you’ll find a place… Sometimes you have to work the extra miles in order to prove yourself regardless of all the negativity that prevails. Be the one to be the change ‘Yourself.’ Lobbying is what will get you through the barriers..

    • It is not the matter of being Muslim or not. In NASA the Work of Rocket Launch and return to earth is entrusted to a Pakistani Lady Scientist, This has been reported by ProPakistani.

  • Few months ago Ahsan Iqbal stated the need to train Pakistani youth in Airline technicians as around 60,000 jobs will be created in the Middle East. Now what happened to this program of training youth for this sector I don`t know can somebody throw light on this.
