Darren Sammy is a very popular figure in Pakistan as he has expressed his love for Pakistani culture and its people. His heroics off the pitch are matched equally on the pitch as well; limping yet still striding forward to bat and field for Peshawar.

It is a huge honor for Pakistan to be blessed with so many legends visiting the country upon the invitation from a local franchise and not even the board itself. This is a clear indication that Pakistan Super League (PSL) has impacted the reputation of the country on a global stage and it will continue to get better.
