Adviser to Prime Minister for Commerce and Investment, Abdul Razak Dawood, informed that the government is committed to expediting the establishment of a Potato Development Council under the forthcoming Strategic Trade Policy Framework (STPF).
Abdul Razak Dawood, in a tweet, said that the council would formulate a long-term vision and policy for this sector.

He stated that he will soon visit all the potato growing areas and will meet the farmers. Furthermore, he will also look after the storage and will see possible facilities for them.
