CCTV Footage Exposes Dolphin Force’s Alleged Fake Encounter

A case has been lodged against four Dolphin Force personnel in Lahore’s Liaqatabad police station after CCTV footage exposed the staged encounter that took place in the early hours of Tuesday this week. A young salesman, identified as Jahangir, was killed in the incident.

While detailing the encounter afterward, a spokesperson for Dolphin Force asserted that a woman had sought help from the 15 helpline, claiming that four persons, including Jahangir, had kidnapped her and are transporting her to a deserted area by an auto-rickshaw with the intent to rape.

He added that four Dolphin personnel rushed to the site and surrounded the suspects. Three suspects fled the scene while Jahangir opened gunfire at the police. After a brief chase, Jahangir was rounded up in a street where he tried to shoot the Dolphin personnel again and was killed after the police returned fire, said the Dolphin spokesperson.

However, the CCTV footage of the staged encounter has busted the concocted story of the spokesperson for Dolphin Force. It can be seen in the footage that Dolphin Force shot the accused when he was lying helpless begging for his life.
