The United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) Ambassador to Pakistan, Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi, has announced that the UAE will open its visa center in Lahore soon.
The ambassador met with Punjab’s Chief Minister (CM), Sardar Usman Buzdar, in Lahore and accentuated the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation in various sectors, especially in construction and health.

The diplomat said that the government of the UAE is interested in investing in the special economic zones.
CM Buzdar spoke about the historical fraternal relations between Pakistan and UAE, and expressed his hopes that the UAE would invest in the Ravi Riverfront Urban Development Project (RUDP) and Walton Business Hub projects.

Last month, the UAE had announced for the first time that it would grant Emirati citizenships to foreign residents, and that the eligible candidates would include investors, specialized talents, doctors, engineers, and artists.
