Mobilink has launched four new phones in Pakistan with official announcement that was made during a launch event in Islamabad today. As reported by ProPakistani a few days ago, all of the new phones target entry-level market with price tags of less than Rs 8,000.
While all phones are 3G enabled, three devices are Android based smartphones while there’s one feature phone in the lineup as well.
Mobilink is calling these phones Jazz X; Xcite for Feature Phone and Xplore for smarpthones.
“We are constantly looking for avenues to provide our customers with the best in-class services and products. The launch of our Jazz X range with our exceptional 3G services will enable consumers, especially from marginalized communities, to be included in the ongoing digitization process,” said Asif Aziz, VP Marketing Mobilink. “There are a very large number of inexpensive and largely undifferentiated devices in the market today catering to the developing communities. We believe, with our Jazz X range, we are able to offer superior value handsets at each price point; something for every consumer.”
Adding to Asif’s statement, Aamer Manzoor, Head of Data – Mobilink stated, “This is another step in Mobilink’s evolution as Pakistan’s best mobile network. Today we are no longer just telecommunications service providers, but have expanded our footprint in becoming a complete mobile communications solution provider.”
As expected, all phones come with various freebies, including free 3G data and free airtime for voice calling.
Mobilink said the launch of its Jazz X cellphone range is in line with company’s strategy of introducing affordable 3G devices in the market to enable 3G usage in a bid to reduce the prevalent digital divide, especially amongst rural inhabitants.

So much X obsession. Pata nahi kab Pakistani X-free naam sochein gay.
Even Microsoft came up with “XP” as in for “Experience”, and that doesn’t mean that Microsoft or America for that matter is “X” obsessed. It really depends on how you take it.
That was 16 years ago.
You’re going to defend it with that? LOL
Dude, wasn’t there any porn 16 years ago? Grow up.
Dude, if you really believe Windows XP had anything to do with porn, you might need to get yourself checked in the head.
Network unlocked! New concept.. Great idea.
Maybelink just trying to show how liberal they are compared to the other networks haha nice move, though ;)
Aren’t all phones sold by pakistani cell service providers like mobilink, ufone, warid come network unlocked?
You will find some but not all.
Network unlocked, to jaaz ke sim kon use kara ga…. Jf100 sae kaam kara ga or wifi ha? Agr to ya dono kaam sae ho to fit backup phn ban sakta. But telenor k phn ke trha farigh na nikal ae
Pagal hogaye han….is configuration main yeh qimat bahut ziada hai….in qeemtoon main bahut achay fone mil jate han
What’s the best bang for buck phone for Rs.8000 IYO?
Moto G
Qmobile S1
Droid Ultra Mini
all have been used by me and can tell they all are better than this, except S1 which has very low internal storage and can lag sometimes in opening and multitasking apps.
but if brand New is the only way, than im not familiar with any of the brands/models in this low price.
all are above 8k.
they are not if bought used, as i’ve already said.
“all have been used by me” it says you used these phones not bought used, also these mobilink used phones would have been ever cheaper in used. Not that I’m saying that they are good.
you need to start understanding words out of others …
PS: arguing for the sake of arguing is pretty stupid. read the last sentence again.
Infinix hot 2
Innjoo halo
Innjoo max 2 (11k)

I am not arguing sir but just as an example, BoltT300 has got 1200mAh battery — to give you an idea about the specs you are advocating.
Now imagine what 1200mAh would do for a smartphone with 4inch screen.

Price= Less then 8k
2) Gfive President – G10

That OS is bad.
X JS700 pretty nice one.
The specs are like the almost dead man who is hardly breathing but some how manages to get fresh, gets shave and wears X perfume and walks in smartphone market.
Dear Amir7 well u can get Qmobile M88 Nitro Pro in Rs. 8100/- Quadcore 1GB 8GB 5 inch FWVGA display and the most important thing it have 3000 MAH battery another Mmobile Splender P15I it also have 5 inch display with 1GB 4GB and IPS QHD display only in Rs. 7500/- with the same specs like JS700 you can also get Qmobile X90 only in Rs. 7500/-
X90’s Price on official website is Rs. 9,500 and btw it comes with dual core processor and 1800mAh battery.
About M88, its not available on their website. Whatmobile is showing it for Rs. 8,800.
See I am not confronting you, but my whole point is that one should be little careful before sharing a negative feedback, unless you are a competition. One just shouldn’t come up and say k bakwas phone hay ya mehnga phone hay without knowing the realities.
About specs, people should realize that these phones are not for first time users. These phones are not for those who have sufficient money to spend 12K or more on their phones. These are for ultra-low end segment, for whom the entry barrier has been relaxed now with these phones that work — that can connect to internet, can have whatsapp and other similar apps to begin with.
You might not be aware of the fact but best potential for growth in new internet users is in this 4-8K price point.
I agree with him that these are enfry level phones n many would love to switch on these cheap phones from their feature phones. And there might be same price mobiles in market like qmobile, Microsoft but these phones coming with free Internet bundles so people may prefer these phones over market phones. So we should not discourage. And mostly people from villages n remote areas they don’t have big mobile shops but they have franchises of these companies who can offer them these phones having the price tag.
MehsoosDotCom ?
Come with arguments sir
Ap already haar chuke ho dear
Carry on with your haier x ?

I’ll go with the genuine brand like Microsoft
I don’t want Haier , qmobile etc
Now that’s an argument. But how if your recognized brand doesn’t have enough apps, a basic app for Gmail for instance?
dear aamir except it u lost here brutally argument wise also btw for checking gmail u dont need app for that u can check ur mails thru browser too dear.
So you are implying that I will prefer inferior experience for my Gmail usage, just because you don’t have an app?
I’m using outlook and Gmail both on my Lumia and galaxy
On official Gmail app?
Who cares about the official app, i have downloaded outlook app and I’ve connected my all accounts with outlook
Haier and Qmobile both are good and are being used in whole pakistan whats wrong
I’ve already mentioned in my comment and the word is “genuine brand” and don’t take it personal because its all about choice, opinion and comparison
Dude, if you really believe Windows XP had anything to do with p orn, you might need to get yourself checked in the head.
You’re a kid who ain’t getting what I’m trying to connote here. Once again, GROW THE F UP! xD
Yeah, you’re trying to “connote” that anything with an X in the title has to do with po rn. How deep and mature. Seriously though, get help. Friendly advice, take it or leave it.
It wasn’t me who was trying to imply that, kiddo. It was the one who commented that “Pata nahi kab Pakistani X-free naam sochein gay” – and in response to that, my comment was making a different point when I told them about the XP thing. You’re a cretin who didn’t get any of it and pops up in the middle with his “that was 16 years ago” bullshit.
Seriously, go watch POGO. There is no place for imbeciles such as you. We have too many already. Shove that friendly advice up yours xD
Ummmm… to the contrary in fact. You implied that :/
All are bekaaar items is Range me to

Aap pti me to nahji. har ke be har mante nahi.
Hahaha ?
can any one here answer my few question here regarding these phones.
1. can we use 3g internet of feature phone jf 100 on our laptops or pc just like we use our smart phones internet thru hotspot or usb theatring? i really want to know abt it bcos i wana buy this feature phone if it has this feature of usb theatring or hotspot like thing. also here in karachi it is safe to carry low end phone rather than an expensive smart phone and for me any thing above 5000 is expensive. already lost 3 smart phones thru snatching.
2. are both sims on feature phone or smart phone have 3g or only single sim have 3g?
3. does Mobilink X JS300 have hotspot and usb theatring option for internet sharing?
i hope you people help me in this regard.
just one more, whats the maximum 3g download and upload speed on feature and smart phone?
Fazol….. Mobile lunch kia ha mobilink ne….
such a waste for a Jazz relaunching :P
I am a casual user who has nothing to do with Jazz, Mobilink, Windows XP, feature phones, budget phones, 8000 PKR phones, low capacity batteries or high capacity batteies…. after reading all comments here, i am LOL LOL LOL LOL…. where in the post it says that it is a personal brand of Aamir ( the admin )…. us k ek comment se aap log ye taásur kese le sakte ho k wo is brand ko promote kar raha he ye us ka owner he… and everyone here just start arguing for the sake of arguing… no matter he is mister X or mister Y or mister Z…
The related advertisement depicts a dearth of ideas. I wish our marketing ideas can come out of female curves and seductive actions! Disgusting!
When i open 3g network, it downloads apps from playstore as well as browse websites also, but when it cames towards playing youtube videos, it stuck on loading sign, and for torrent, it stuck on calculating but does not starts.
