Bollywood never fails to serve drama, both on and off the screen. This time, it’s Urvashi Rautela and her tone-deaf comments about Saif Ali Khan who was recently hospitalized after a shocking stabbing incident at his Mumbai residence.

The controversy began when Urvashi Rautela was asked about her thoughts on Saif Ali Khan and the attack during a recent event. While one might expect a somber and empathetic response, Urvashi managed to turn the conversation into an impromptu showcase of her expensive accessories.

“It is very unfortunate,” she began, before quickly pivoting to, “Now Daaku Maharaaj has crossed ₹105 crore at the box office, and my mother gifted me this diamond-studded Rolex, while my father gifted me this mini watch on my finger.”

She then added, “But we don’t feel confident wearing it outside openly. There is this insecurity that anybody can attack us. Whatever happened was very unfortunate.”

Yes, you read that right. In the same breath as expressing concern for Saif Ali Khan, who was stabbed six times during a home invasion, Urvashi decided to flaunt her diamond-studded Rolex and a “mini watch” on her finger.

The internet, as expected, was not impressed.

Social Media Reacts: “Delulu is the New Solulu”

The video of her comments quickly made its way to Reddit and other social media platforms, where netizens wasted no time in calling her out.

One user wrote, “Urvashi just seems out of touch, seriously delusional kind.” Another quipped, “So she just advertised to potential robbers that she has this really expensive watch.”

A particularly savage comment read, “Delulu is the new solulu. I wanna be as ignorant and self-obsessed as her. Maybe my life would be easier that way. Ignorance is bliss for her.”

Others pointed out the irony of her statement. “She’s talking about insecurity while literally flaunting her wealth. Make it make sense,” one user commented.
