Asma Nabeel Opens up About Her Battle With Cancer

She plans on remaining positive and hopeful.

Asma Nabeel is one of the most famous screenwriters of Pakistan. Her penmanship was proved with the 2018 movie Maan Jao Naa. While her creativity never ceases to amaze us, her strength and positivity are even more impressive.

The Khaani writer battled cancer back in 2013, yet she continued to provide amazing scripts for her fans. She has been the pillar of strength and a source of motivation for all the cancer warriors. Her willingness to work hard despite her life’s challenges is extremely admirable.

Recently, Asma took to her social media to reveal how she is battling the disease for a second time. Spreading the message of thankfulness, the Bandi writer said:

“One day at a time and each day be more thankful. Try to find out more reasons to say, Thank you Allah. My cancer journey taught me this and the second chapter of this journey is giving me new lessons of being thankful and being strong.”

Further adding that she went for a PET scan, the poet said she is grateful to be able to afford her treatments. Asma also added that she wrapped up her show, and that is another thing to be thankful for.

“Be honest with your work and cherish each moment of your passion. Cribbing and making excuses not to work is thanklessness.”

Urging her fans to be thankful for everything, Asma also added:

“I know it won’t be easy… the process, the treatment but my faith is stronger than the pain and suffering. And the Duas around me will help me rise stronger.”
