Singer-songwriter, Kaifi Khalil made it onto YouTube’s Top 100 Global chart. The young singer’s music video for the single Kahani Suno 2.0 is ranked 52nd on the list today.
The young musician from Karachi is the only Pakistani music artist to make it to the YouTube Top 100 Global chart.
Kaifi Khalil has had a terrific 2022 and the Baloch singer’s popularity continues to rise worldwide. The singer made his mark last year with the Coke Studio season 14 banger Kana Yaari with Abdul Wahab Bugti and hijabi rapper Eva B.
However, it was the young singer’s heartfelt track Kahani Suno 2.0 that made him an international star. The song also featured an OST for the drama serial Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha and even had pop songstress Aima Baig trying to steal the spotlight away from Kaifi Khalil with her not-so-good rendition.
Kaifi Khalil is a promising young music artist from Karachi, best known for bringing a twist to traditional Balochi music by combining it with modern music. He was arguably the best emerging artist of 2022.
The music video for his single Kahani Suno 2.0 has nearly 50 million views on YouTube and it does not look like the song’s popularity and the hype is going to fade away anytime soon.
The singer recently performed at the Karachi Eats festival in Clifton. However, he had to cut his performance short due to the harassment of attending families at the event.
