Men and Women Celebrate Sindhi Culture Day with Singing and Dancing [Pictures]

The President, Prime Minister, and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari felicitated Sindhis on this special day.

Sindhis across the province and particularly Karachi and Hyderabad celebrated Sindhi Culture Day with enthusiasm and joy in throngs outside press clubs.

The celebrations featured traditional music and dances, and people and activists from various social organizations and political parties held rallies and programs to celebrate Sindh’s rich culture.

Note that this event is celebrated every year on the first Sunday in December.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Arif Alvi felicitated the people of Sindh for their cultural day.

PM Shehbaz Sharif said,

The civilization of Sindh has been adding beauty not only to this region but also to the civilization of humanity since the last thousand years. Today is the foundation day of Babul Islam Sindh, a day to highlight the beauty of a federal unit in Pakistan. I congratulate all Sindhi brothers and sisters on this day.

Dr. Arif Alvi tweeted the following:

PPP Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, remarked,

The culture of Sindh is a beautiful blend of Indus civilization and Islamic civilization: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Men, women, and children donned cultural dresses, including the Sindhi topi, dresses, turbans, and ajraks to highlight their rich history and cultural heritage.
