Actress Iqra Aziz stands firm on her stance on how to prosecute rapists. The Ranjha Ranjha Kardi actress wants the strictest punishment for rapists and child molesters.
The punishment for such a violent crime should be more than just a little jail time. In her appearance on Iffat Omar’s web series, Iqra Aziz demanded rape and child abuse should be punishable with death. In order to curb the crime with the strictest legal persecution, she said that such criminals should be public hanged.

She hopes that will serve as a warning and deterrent for others.
In her appearance on ‘Say It All‘, the Tabeer actress made this statement while discussing curbing violence against women and enforcing legislation to make the country safer for women.
Iqra Aziz accepted that people may have different opinions on this matter. However, Pakistan doesn’t rank too high on global polls for the safest countries for women. Not to mention, it isn’t even an easy country for women to travel.
The Muqadas actress asserted how rapists and child molesters are a constant threat to society
“I am sure that a perpetrator of sexual abuse can never live among the people without posing danger.”

That’s when Iffat Omar brought up how the rate of child abuse in Pakistan shows no sign of declining despite the Zainab child abuse case that shook the nation.
“Zainab’s criminal was brought to justice, but 10 children are raped daily in Pakistan.”
Iqra Aziz believes that only public execution can reduce the crime rate.
“You need to set an example for such people so that others do not dare to do such things.”
