Ufone Abolishes Post Paid Reward Points

Ufone Post Paid users had this facility of earning reward points based on their monthly bills, which isn’t there anymore.

By calling helpline, Ufone users could redeem those reward points, and get the equilent amount credited to their bills – however, through a message Ufone informed its customers that the promotion is over and customers must redeem their reward points, or it will get expire (with in a week).

So this is another tease for post paid users, and a clear message that company isn’t interested in their (loyal) postpaid users – so guys either there are better options in prepaid, reconsider your choice.

These are very small but significant factors that earns the loyalty of your customer, however, it seems Ufone is least concerned. Moreover, it is not comprehendible at all that how the rewards points got expired? With only a week’s notice? I mean Ufone could have waited for at least a month if not two, especially in a scenario when customers used to redeem their reward points only once or twice a year (as their redemption value was too little).

So the bottom line is that “Ufone’s Postpaid Reward Points” is a gone story now, better luck with future offerings.

  • On an additional note, Ufone PostPaid customers were able to redeem reward points only when they hit 10,000 mark.

So all those with less than 10,000 reward points were not given redemption.

    Another flick…!

  • PostPaid users are usually treated as stepchild by the telecom companies. Look at the Vfone PostPaid packages, they are totally useless when compared to its PrePaid packages. It seems like it is more profitable for them to keep as many prepaid costumers as possible.

  • One more bad news for post paid users, ufone is already not giving any kind of good packages or features for the postpaid customer, means its time to switch rather than paying for nothing.

  • I am ufone postpaid user from last 3 years and i had paid Rs 10000 to take their golden number and i am feeling sick of their facilities , they have no unlimited sms package and you will face so much problem in recieving your bill too and now this.
shame to be ufone postpaid user.

    • Fortunately, you have a simple solution to this problem : change from postpaid to prepaid, or better yet, change from ufone to something else.

  • Well yeah i agree with the postpaid SuX thingy.. Ufone postpaid SUX n i repeat SUX big tym!!…
Though one thing i disagree with the article.. the expiration warning messages have been circulated for about month n a half or so..
