How to Recharge PTCL EVO through Vfone Scratch Cards?

We recently posted about PTCL’s customer support issues while paying bill for prepaid PTCL Evo, here is a mechanism for recharging PTCL EVO through Vfone Scratch Cards.

Note: This method is valid for Huawei USB and PCMCIA cards only. Old USBs from ZTE can’t be recharged through this method.

1- On the main screen of PTCL EVO Panel, click on the Call or Voice Icon to start the soft phone dialer.

2- Using the dial pad, dial 1015 and press the call button

3- After hearing the welcome IVR, select your desired language option by pressing 1 or 2. (enable sound on your computer and make sure volume is turned up).

4- For Card Recharge

0023 How to Recharge PTCL EVO through Vfone Scratch Cards?

Select 1
Enter the 13 digits pin code from your scratch card.
Follow the IVR instructions

5- For balance inquiry select 2 in the main menu.

Thats the easy part getting them to reactivate it is a completely different story. My PTCL phone line went dead two weeks ago after vistiting and complaing on almost every second day, i finally borrowed my friend’s EVO deice.

Added Vfone Rs. 500 rupee balance to it. Now it should work right? NO IT DOESNT! Gives a username and password error. I called PTCL for hours over the last 3 days and its still not working.

Customer services reps took all information severaltimes and each time i was given a different story.

- The matter has been escalated
- Our seniors have been informed
- We have reset it it will work in a few hours etc.

This basically answered my question why my friend had no issues giving it to me and paying for the balance card, he couldnt get it to work after the first month’s balance ran out. he is using worldcall wireless and is very happy with it.

  i Agree with MT’s Post. Even i recharged rs 2000 to it but its still not connecting. No one’s born in PTCL i guess to resolve these kind of issues.

Is it possible to use evo/evdo USB as a prepaid device?
I mean if the balance goes nil and i dont use it for 3-4 months, can i just charge it after a 3-4 months lapse? Or will i have to go thru some re-activation process
Kinldly advise about both WORLDCALL & PTCL usb devices

when i start dialling 1015 for card rechage call does not connected. it appeares “dialing” for sometime then appears “closed” on screen. what should i do plz??????????
