PTI Website Defaced by Hackers

Pakistan Tehreeq-e-Insaf’s (PTI) official website was hacked Tuesday night.

The hackers who defaced the PTI website call themselves as ‘Voice of Pakistan; Death Adders Crew’.

The website was defaced following former PTI worker Ayesha Gulalai’s press conference after she alleged that the PTI party disrespects women. She also announced her resignation from the party.

PTI’s website remained defaced for several hours showing a message from hackers for Imran Khan that “we will not vote you”.

The hackers wrote that “we are not supporters of any political party.”

The PTI’s technical team was working to recover the website which remained defaced till the filing of this report.

Ayesha Gulalai & Women Harassment Allegations

The hack followed Ayesha Gulalai’s press conference on Tuesday where she alleged PTI of harassing and disrespecting women in the party by sending indecent text messages.

The hackers posted a screenshot from ARY News with the former PTI leader Ayesha Gulalai’s quote in the defaced page:

Currently, the website redirects to a YouTube video of Imran Khan.

On the other hand, after the allegations about ill-treatment of women, women came out to defend their leader Imran Khan while referring to Gulalai as an opportunist.

This is a developing story and we’ll continue to update it.
