Pakistani Entrepreneur Wins mBillionth Award in India

Abdul Muqsit, a UAE based Pakistani IT professional, has won mBillionth Award South Asia for his Online Pastho Dictionary in “m-Culture & Heritage” category.

Awards were held earlier this week in New Delhi, however, Abdul Muqsit couldn’t make it to the event to receive his award because of visa security issues.

mBillionth Awards South Asia is a platform for recognizing innovations in Telecom and Mobile content/Applications/Models. Launched in 2010, mBillionth Awards aims to to explore, recognize & honour the best practices in Mobile & Telecom Industry across South Asia and Afghanistan.

Abdul Muqsit is a software engineer with proven passion for Pashto language for which has has been working for years to establish an online English to Pashto to English dictionary.
