Zong, has announced the launch its Internet only SIM, which can be used on Smartphones and other devices for data only connections.
With internet only SIMs, customers will be able to enjoy Zong’s 3G and 4G packages that are offered with devices only, such as with Zong’s 3G wingle or Zong’s MiFi device.
Not to mention, these devices packages are not available for Zong’s usual SIMs.
So if you have a Dual SIM phone then you can use data through Internet Only SIM with special packages and use voice/SMS and other activities through second SIM.
The Internet SIM has been designed to cater to the rising needs of potential internet subscribers, who carry out substantial data usage on Smart Phones, iPads, tablets and open market Internet SIM compatible Devices (WiFis and Wingles).

Can’t get you to link Aamir but i have one of Telenor since 2011 with USB Dongle and its data sim only, To change package or get info about it is only by calling helpline or going to CSS

Aamir, that is also called data sim, I’ve telenor Internet or Data Sim. I believe UFONE is also offereing this sim since long.
Dear mr. @aamir7:disqus with due respect, for ease mobilink has introduced a code for converting existing voice sim to data sim, similarly zong existing sim and also be converted to data sim, Even you can buy data only sim only for Mobilink by paying Rs. 50 at their franchise

you need to get your knowledge checked before you make a public appearance. Mobilink was unlimited on 3G till recently and now still has the unlimited but has changed it to EDGE
in sargodha there is no zong 4G

Its rate is much high and Packages are also big. They should also add 5 and 10 GB packages for mobile users with minimum price of 500 RS for 5 GB. some dumb made these packages. They will fail.

I have a Zong 4G Mifi device that came with a SIM, I find the device inconvenient and put the SIM in my dual sim phone, it works the same as the DATA SIM in the article, I can not make calls from it, only use it for data. The same can be done with Mobilink, Telenor and Warid DATA SIMs, so people are right, all operators already have a DATA SIM that you can use in your phone.
With WARID they give you an easy code that you can use to convert your SIM to a data SIM, so this is nothing new.

We do, but they are expensive. The reason behind that is a voice sim is taxed differently than an internet sim.
For example, for PKR 1,500 data package on a regular sim will require you to load a card of PKR 2,000, almost 25% will be deducted as taxes and service charges on card load. While on a data sim you will need to load a PKR 1,500 card to activate a PKR 1,500 package.

I bought uNLOCK hUAWEI DEVICE FROM EBAY.wHEN i WANT TO USE INTERNET, i SIMPLY PUT MY SIM IN THAT USB AND USE WITH OUT ANY PROBLEM. There is no call function but you can send sms as well.
