Infinix Hot 2 Launched in Pakistan in a Tremendously Affordable Package

While there were a whole bunch of individuals at the launch event held recently for Infinix’s newest product, the star of the show was none other than Infinix Hot 2. The Hong Kong-based smartphone OEM launched its latest mobile product keeping the Pakistani consumer in mind and in many ways it is better than Infinix Hot Note.

Consumers should know that there are two different models available for the Hot 2. One is going to comprise up of 1GB of RAM, while the other one will feature 2GB of RAM. Infinix Hot 2 is powered by a quad-core processor with a clock speed of 1.3GHz. However, at this current point, there is no information on which chipset is running inside the smartphone, or which processor type will be responsible for tackling all the intensive tasks and applications.

The device itself features a 5 inch HD screen with a resolution measuring 1280 x 720. According to the company, Infinix Hot 2 is running a stock version of Android Lollipop 5.1. And that’s unique because the only smartphones running stock are ‘Nexus’ devices.

The phone also comes with a perforated back, which means that it is fingerprint resistant. It has a nice textured back cover that’s sure to pique the interest of people. The body features a rounded rectangular look that is also sure to appeal to the minimalist crowd.

For expandable storage users, there is a microSD card slot that can increase your storage up to 32GB. Bear in mind that if you want to maintain the speed of your smartphone, then you will have to invest in a powerful and fast storage card, which will definitely cost you, but will benefit you in the longer run. Unfortunately, there is no LTE modem support, but a 3G modem is present. The Infinix Hot 2 also comes with dual SIM support.

  • Isn’t this phone falls under Google’s Android One program? If yes, why isn’t it being advertised under Android One program?

  • Can anybody tell me … a phone with quad core processor + 2gb is better or
a phone with octa core processor + 1gb ram

  • Worst online shopping experience = darazpk, most of the time items out of stock. Deliveries take 4 to 10 days. While other companies are trying to deliver items same day.

Infinix should sell their phone through some other seller.

    • agreed my hot infinix is on process under replacement because first one have speaker issue they have worst management,.

      • Received my Infinix Hot 2 after 10 days. Several complaints and efforts.

Received a faulty phone :| touch screen issue on some spots it is hard to tap.

You got replacement or repaired phone? How did you send it? Daraz free TCS method?

  • As a user of Infinix hot note which I bought in August , I have to say the OS upgrade from kitkat to lollipop is a pathetic way.
You have to flash the phone manually through 4 or 5 steps using different software.
Basically this is the difference between a different company and an inexperienced company, a good company will provide a seamless OTA upgrade update via a simple notification.
While there hardware is good, but because of the poor upgrade process support, I might not be buying infinix again.

  • Great phone for the price.Bought it for my wife.Great thing is it has stock Android.Camera isn’t very good but ,hey you cant have everything …..
