Microsoft Pakistan Announces Big Discounts on 5 Lumia Phones

Microsoft Pakistan has made some big announcements for its Lumia handsets according to a recently-aired TV commercial. Microsoft has discounted some of its Lumia smartphones for Pakistani consumers. The Windows-powered phones in question are entry level and midrange offerings. All of the discounted phones come with Dual-SIM functionality and a few of them will get the Windows Mobile 10 update in the coming weeks.

The five phones getting the discounts are Lumia 430, Lumia 435, Lumia 535, Lumia 540 and Lumia 640 XL. They can bought from any of the i2Pakistan retail outlets in major cities across the country. The pricing and phone details are mentioned below:

Microsoft Lumia 430 Dual SIM

Lumia 430 is Microsoft’s ultra low-cost offering. There are very few smartphones around which come with such a small price tag. Microsoft’s phones require much less processing power to offer a smooth user experience and that can also be said for the 435 which comes with a Snapdragon 200 processor.

The phone has a 4-inch display with a resolution of 480×800. At the moment, the phone runs Windows Phone 8.1. Even though it was included in the Windows 10 Mobile Insider Previews but the possibility of an OS upgrade is less than certain for the Lumia 430.

The rest of the specs are 1GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage, expandable by up to 128 GB using a micro SD card. There’s a decent 2MP camera at the back and a 0.3 MP shooter at the front as well. The battery stands at 1,500mAH which should be sufficient for such a low demanding phone.

The phone will be getting a discount of Rs 2,500. For more detailed coverage on Lumia 430, head here.

    • You are right aaj yehi ad mere pas bhi araha tha and I am pretty sure ke meri browsing history main aisa kuch nahi…

      • Just download Windows Insider from store and open it. It’ll ask you to login to your Microsoft account to enroll for developer preview program and selection of update ring. You should choose the release ring here as it is the safest one. Now you are done. just go to settings>phone updates to download update.

      • Just download Windows Insider from Nokia Store. After it download and install the updates and Windows 10 will be there in 3 hrs. But you are required to download updates using WIFI!

    • Windows 10 ka faida nahn hai q k usmwein Caller name Announce nah hota jaise 8.1 mein hai.. Agar koi tareeka ha windows 10 mein caller name announcer ka to bataen.. two times upgrade kr k wapis 8.1 use kr raha hn abhi.

    • TV campaign k bad pata chala tha, is sai pehlay i2Pakistan nain publicise nahi kiya tha.

  • It’s an old story. maheena ho gya hai iss discount ko tou. propakistani ne ab dekha ad.

  • Thanks Aadil Shadman for the horny Indian model in hindi with her gestures warming up the readers. Guess comes with a reasonable reward for the story to publicise the model and her hand holding. The price reduction, with no clue of the detailed specs., and reason for not giving Office 365 bundled with the phone etc. Please tell also what will be the support guarantee if Microsoft discontinue Mobile Phone product line, then they will pass the cusdtomers on their own, or at the mercy of the model alluring the buyers. Please tell exactly when they would upgrade and the office 365? Is it 4G/LTE compatible. or not.

    • There is no model related to the article. The detailed specs are listed in the post as well. There is no mention of free Office 365 however if it is included it will be free for 1 year.
The phones. if any, which are 4G compatible are also mentioned.

Microsoft will not discontinue their mobile line, they paid billions of dollars to buy Nokia to make mobile phones.

      • OK, as it is alluring with Microsoft phones, which possibly SOP of Microsoft Pakistan. As per announcement of Satiya Nadella few days back to Linux OS as the future of Microsoft. When you sell a Windows 8 phone, with a promise to upgrade it to Windows 10, how many days approx. Could you please upgrade directly to Linux Operating System, as per press briefing in the Financial Times, London with this querry. As Microsoft Pakistan is selling this product bundled with Windows 10, and Satiya says Linux Operating System, can a customer buying today with Windows 8 will be upgraded to Linux, and Office 365. Microsoft is in the transitory period of takeover of Nokia products, with its proprietory OS. I understand it was upgraded to Windows 8, and then Windows 10, and finally to Linux. Would the Apps., support Linux in this case. Would we get any credit for the switchover to Linux as we are paying for the Windows 10 OS in Pakistan. I suggest Microsoft should communicate its disclaimer to CCP the Anti Trust Authority, of Pakistan, with due diligence. I’m willing to purchase with the AIT Cortana being major purpose to test it, as there are alternate AIT software for various phones demonstratred at the GSMA2016 Barcelona.

        • I think you need to read the Financial Times article again. Microsoft is Windows. There can’t be a Microsoft without Windows in this era.
And Microsoft has already transitioned from taking over Nokia, the recent products are a proof of that. You are seriously confused about what Microsoft is doing or what has happened. Try reading stuff again to clarify what’s happening.

  • i have lumia 540 but screen and touch is broken and now is not availiable how should i will find this unit
