Young Graduates Successfully Inducted in Zong GT Programme

Zong has inducted more than 40 new graduates in its specifically designed Graduate Trainee programme (GTP) for young professional’s right out of universities. The programme is unique in the industry and is designed to provide a strong learning platform for fresh students from diverse fields such as, engineering, business, marketing, finance and information technology.

The overall program, spanning 1 to 2 years is designed to provide maximum exposure to jump start the careers of these youngsters with a solid base of telecommunication knowledge coupled with management expertise.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Maham Dard, official Spokesman and Director Corporate Affairs for Zong said “We are delighted in welcoming these young colleagues to work with us in order to make our company a more diverse organization with fresh ideas. We want to make this a strong platform and attract the best talent. We encourage new ideas from the best talent in the market to add more innovation and continue to improve our network more intelligently and effectively”.

“Graduate trainee officer” or GTO program in short selects outstanding candidates from top universities after a well-structured hiring process, with specific assessment centers as well as written tests to make sure the best of the best join this team. For the last 4 years, Zong has been a key player in providing professional opportunities to young graduates through their specialized Graduate Trainee Programme and has significantly invested in the Pakistani market.


  • Well the prominent part that you are missing to report is that they and other top notch companies only provide these opportunities to the top university graduates, universities that a middle class person cant easily afford, universities like IBA, LUMS, IOBM etc etc.

  • I applied but never get a call because of no reference and more than 2 Lac people apply for this program every year.

    • Exactly because to middle class universities students are not worth it according to them, like they don’t have the potential to work and grow.

  • Rather call it “Zong Sifarshi Graduate Program”, I’m sure I got 95-100% result but its all sifarish. Crap it is.
