Social Media Sides with Kaleemullah After Alleged Threat by PFF Official

Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has been embroiled in controversies for a long time now and that is the reason why Pakistan’s football team is among the worst teams in the football world.

Former captain Kaleemullah, who currently plays for a Turkish club, has accused the PFF Vice President Sardar Naveed Haider Khan of threatening him over social media.

The footballer claims that the official posted a tweet saying, “If Kaleemullah can justify his transfer to the Turkish Club as per FIFA Regulation then I will stand up with him and support him, if not then hang him for his lies and deceit”.

Even if someone violates the federation rules, there is no law which permits his hanging, is there?

However, Sardar Naveed has denied posting the tweet and it is nowhere to be found – it might have been deleted. However, the matter has gained quite a lot of traction and it is up to PFF to clear the air.

Here is how the star footballer replied to the tweet.

The official has denied the allegations saying that the screenshot is forged and that the matter is between Kaleemullah and the PFF.

Earlier, PFF had issued Kaleem a show-cause notice as well for speaking out against the federation.

People have showered their support for the footballer for speaking out against the corrupt and dysfunctional administration.
