Pak Railways Designs Software to Digitize Land Management

Pakistan Railways has designed a software to digitize its lands all over the country.

As per the details, this software cost Rs. 400 million to develop. The Punjab Urban Unit has handed over the software to the Railways department. With this software, Pak Railways will keep track of its agricultural, residential, and commercial lands around the country.

Divisional Superintendent Railways Multan Division, Amir Daudpota, held a meeting to discuss the use of the software. During the meeting, guidelines regarding the use of software were discussed.

The meeting was apprised that all land record of Pak Railways is safe. The department will keep a check on its land through the new software.

It is pertinent to mention here that Pak Railways had kickstarted a campaign against encroachment on its land a few months ago. It managed to retrieve some of its land worth of billions of rupees.

This new software is another step by the department to keep records of its lands and prevent any such incident in the future.
