Former Information and Broadcasting Minister, Fawad Chaudhary’s appointment as Minister for Science and Technology has drawn in plenty of sarcastic criticism.
His qualifications for the post had made him an instant meme on social media. What’s worse is that every now and then, he does something or says something out of the blue to justify the trolls.
This time around, the Federal Minister has claimed that the Hubble Telescope was sent into space by SUPARCO, which is Pakistan’s space research agency, instead of NASA.
It looks like Imran Khan has shown too much confidence in Fawad Chaudhry, who was seen explaining technology to the masses.
He said this on live TV. The statement has once again sparked plenty of debate on social media. Let’s have a look what people are saying on the microblogging platform, Twitter.
This isn't any more. @fawadchaudhry has made a mockery of Pakistanis. It's shameful that he didn't even bother to read anything on this matter. No Hubble Space Telescope was not sent by Suparco and it's NOT a durbeen (binocular)!!!

A very minor mistake.
SUPARCO made a small mistake, they should have put him in the HUBBLE to make it into a manned orbit

Hubble for moonsighting. Way to go.
Fawad Chaudhary claims that Hubble Space Telescope was sent into orbit by Suparco (Pakistan's space agency) and wants to use the same technology for Moonsighting.
