One of the finest cricketers to represent Pakistan at the international stage, Javed Miandad has turned 62 today.
From the last-ball six at Sharjah to 6 World Cup appearances, the legend has given cricket fans countless memories throughout his career.
In a career that spanned over two decades, Miandad played 124 Tests and 233 ODIs for Pakistan. The highlight of his career was the 1992 World Cup triumph under Imran Khan’s captaincy where he was the lynchpin of Pakistan’s batting.
The former captain has amassed over 16,000 international runs with 31 centuries across formats.
