Redmi launched its first ultrabook a few months ago, called the RedmiBook 14. The laptop is powered by an Intel 8th generation processor and its top-end model featuring Core i7 and a 512GB SSD is priced at ~$704.
As the company is gearing up to launch its new Redmi Note phones, it has also announced a new version of the laptop with a 10th generation Intel processor. The laptop will, of course, be more expensive than the 8th generation variant and will feature either 10nm Ice Lake CPUs or the 14nm Comet lake CPUs.

Other than a new processor and possibly a new GPU, the laptop is expected to feature the same specifications. It’s safe to say that the new RedmiBook 14 will come with a 14-inch display with 81.2 percent screen to body ratio, smart unlock 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack, USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and a full-sized keyboard.
The company’s 29th August launch event will be jam-packed as Redmi intends to launch its first 4K television, the new Note phones as well as the upgraded RedmiBook 14 at the event.
