Xiaomi has never held back when it comes to innovation, especially in its crowdfunded products. The Chinese giant is back with two new products. One of them is a power bank that acts as a charger and a power outlet, specifically designed for people who tend to travel a lot.
The second product is an electric travel cup manufactured by Xiaomi‘s ecological chain partner Viomi.
Power bank
This triple-duty device is a charger, power bank, and a power outlet at the same time. It can directly be plugged in the wall and its USB ports can be used to charge devices while the power plug can be used for any electronic device. This device is one of a kind because we have seen power banks doubling as chargers before, but one that doubles as a power outlet is new.
For charging, it comes with two USB-A ports and one USB-C port. The built-in battery has 5000 mAh capacity and the power outlet is a two-pin universal plug. This 3-in-1 device will be available for sale soon at a $22 price tag.
Viomi Travel Electric Cup
This new addition to Viomi’s Thermos flask lineup is constructed using 304 stainless steel and can store up to 400 ml of liquid. At the bottom, it has a power cord that can be used to heat the liquid in the thermos. It can boil water in 6 to 8 minutes.
The insides are manufactured with food-grade SUS304 stainless steel. Hence, it is rust-resistant and will not emit any foul odors either.
The cup comes with proper insulation and can keep boiled water at the same temperature for 3 hours and hot for 12 hours. It is currently being crowdfunded at $14.
