Oppo Reno 2 is an Ideal Smartphone for Vloggers

Oppo Reno 2 has been launched and it focuses on its camera capabilities. Oppo Claims that it will be a real game changer when it comes to mobile photography and videography.

The Oppo Reno 2’s is loaded with a Quad Camera setup on the back and a sleek looking shark-fin pop-up selfie camera. The rear setup consists of 48MP+8MP+13MP+2MP while the shark fin camera holds a 16MP camera.

What makes the Reno 2 so great for video making is the quad setup support for 5x Hybrid Zoom, up to 20x Digital Zoom and Fusion Imaging Technology, so you can easily shift through different perspectives.

This will give users more flexibility when shooting videos, allowing seamless switching between different focal lengths. And this will be done with minimal loss in video quality.

Reno 2 also supports Ultra Steady Video Mode which ensures that all videos will be auto-stabilized. This feature aims to get rid of shakiness in videos.

It also features bokeh effects and an Ultra Dark Mode. These make shooting professional looking videos, even in low-light settings easier.

All of this is backed by a 4000 mAh battery and supported by VOOC 3.0 technology. On the design side, Reno 2 has a 6.5-inch AMOLED full screen with a screen-to-body ratio of 93.1%.

The Reno 2 aims to be a phone that has something for everyone. Powered by the Android-based ColorOS 6.1 system and equipped with a custom-built UI, Hyper Boost 2.0, Touch Boost 2.0 and Frame Boost 2.0, the Reno 2 ensures a smooth and lag-free gaming experience.

  • I don’t think the Reno 2’s video is the best. I have seen a video sample on YouTube by an Indian Vlogger and it was pretty ordinary, especially the dynamic range is too low. The shadows were too dark and there was no detail in it.
