Pakistan Post has been ranked at 67th position in the Universal Postal Union 2020 rankings.
The Universal Postal Union is a United Nations specialized agency that publishes the annual rankings based on service, consumer confidence, reach, hard work, and dedication.
According to the 2020 report, Pakistan Post has jumped up 27 places since 2016 when it was ranked at 94th position.
While speaking on the news, Federal Minister for Postal Services, Murad Saeed, said that Pakistan Post will rise even higher once the organization completes its digitization project.
The Minister added that Pakistan Post is aiming to be in the top 20 by the end of 2023.
Note that UN, earlier this year, had also appreciated Pakistan Post’s door-to-door coverage during the Coronavirus pandemic.
