Beautiful Gwadar Cricket Stadium Gets Its First Star-Studded Exhibition Match [Pictures]

Gwadar Cricket Stadium is hosting its first-ever exhibition match with celebrities and politicians taking part. The match is being played between Gwadar Dolphins and Showbiz Sharks and is dedicated to Ali Sadpara, the renowned mountaineer who lost his life during K2 expedition.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister in the capacity of a Minister of State in Cabinet, Zulfi Bukhari, along with celebrities such as Fakhr-e-Alam, Aijaz Aslam, Faysal Qureshi, and Ali Zafar are taking part in the exhibition match. Prominent politicians, Ali Zaidi and Fawad Chaudhary are also participating.

CEO of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Wasim Khan, is also taking part in the match and is captaining the Gwadar Dolphins team, while Zulfi Bukhari is the captain of Showbiz Sharks.

Zulfi Bukhari shared a video from the stadium and spoke about the government’s plans to build an international standards stadium on the venue.

While the viewers can live stream the live action from Gwadar Cricket Stadium on YouTube, the match is also being telecasted live on Aaj Entertainment.

Gwadar Cricket Stadium went viral on social media a few weeks ago for its picturesque backdrop and breathtaking location.

The images of the stadium were shared by the official Twitter account of the International Cricket Council (ICC) as well. The government of Pakistan has also expressed its desire to transform this stadium into a fully equipped stadium of international standards and is hopeful of hosting an international match at the venue soon.
