Pakistan team management has confirmed that Fakhar Zaman will not take part in the second T20I after suffering an injury. Fakhar suffered a minor allergy to his left leg which has ruled him out of action for the second T20I, scheduled to be played today (Monday), at Johannesburg.

Fakhar has been replaced by hard-hitting opener, Sharjeel Khan, who will make his comeback to the national team starting line-up after a gap of 4 years, having played his last international match in 2017.
Fakhar was in sublime form, scoring two consecutive centuries in the ODI series against the proteas and carried his fine touch to the T20I series, scoring 27 runs in the first match, helping Pakistan to a four wicket victory.

Pakistan is only expected to make the one change, with the rest of the playing XI staying the same. Sharjeel Khan and Mohammad Rizwan will be expected to open the innings, with captain, Babar Azam coming at one down.
