Pakistan fast bowler, Mohammad Abbas, has linked his brilliant bowling display in England’s County Championship with the blessings of Ramadan.
Abbas took six wickets for just 11 runs, including a hat-trick, in the first innings to give Hampshire a massive advantage over Middlesex in England’s County Championship.

After Hampshire had made 319 in their first innings, Abbas rattled the Middlesex batting lineup with a fierce spell and ended up with remarkable figures of 6-11 in 11 overs as Middlesex slumped to 79 all out.
Abbas, who took 9 wickets in the game, said it was a great day for him.
I took two wickets, and before I bowled for my third wicket, I realized Ramadan is going on, and that is lucky for us, and Friday is a day that is lucky for me.

Mohammad Abbas is a world-class bowler, but there are no excuses for getting bowled out for 79 on that wicket.
