However, there are also reports that the former captain is planning to step down from his post after PSL 6. A foreign news agency has reported quoting sources close to Waqar Younis that he feels exhausted and misses his family.

The coach has been constantly with the team for the last five months while other cricketers get to spend time with their loved ones when they return to Pakistan. Waqar Younis does not get this opportunity because his family resides in Australia.
