The bowling coach of the national cricket team, Waqar Younis, is likely to resign from his post due to personal reasons.
As per media reports, Younis, who has left the team to go to Australia for his wife’s surgery, will not be available during the Zimbabwe series, and will return to Pakistan for the remaining matches of the PSL 6 in June.

However, there are also reports that the former captain is planning to step down from his post after PSL 6. A foreign news agency has reported quoting sources close to Waqar Younis that he feels exhausted and misses his family.
The coach has been constantly with the team for the last five months while other cricketers get to spend time with their loved ones when they return to Pakistan. Waqar Younis does not get this opportunity because his family resides in Australia.

He last visited them in December during the Test series against New Zealand after being granted leave following the Boxing Day Test against New Zealand in Mount Maunganui to spend time with his family whom he had not met in over six months at that time.
